I’ve been using WS2K8 as my primary OS since late December, 2007 and it has been a pleasure to use (most of the time) – although without proper graphics support which makes flash and other video content hazardous.
Parting thought.. Why does it seem to be the flavour of the past twelve months for software vendors to write and release programs which monitor or index your machine? You just don’t seem to be able to safely install something these days without it adding a memory resident service, or indexer or somesuch. My machine’s memory and CPU use are critical to my work, why do vendors keep stealing it and what are they doing with it?
