A very merry Christmas to all, may your new year be safe and prosperous.
I tend to find Christmas is a good time to look back and reflect upon the year. This year has had many ups and downs. We lost my grandfather around mid year, our first loss in over a decade, so it has been a challenging time for all.
My thoughts go out to those affected by the turbulent financial changes this year and to our fighting men and women in Iraq and other areas of the world, away from friends and family.
On the bright side, even numbered years seem to have been a lot better. Wife and I are moving to a new state next year – Queensland – where we hope to bring about a small sea change to our life style. The plan is more exercise, less stress and more enjoying life.
