Sorry about the delays in new posts – we’re anticipating moving into a new apartment early next week and as a result I’ve been postponing the amount of time usually reserved for new blog posts. Regular posts should resume either later this coming week, or the following week (as I will be out of town next weekend).
While I’m writing, I’d like to tip my hat to the many hundreds of war veterans and serving members of Australia and New Zealand’s armed forces who are marching today in remembrance of ANZAC day.
My family have a long history serving in the armed forces, dating back at least as far as the Boer war in South Africa. Their efforts combined with the sacrifices of many hundreds of thousands of men and women provided an opportunity for succeeding generations to enjoy peace and prosperity. Lest we forget.
